DOVER – Ethel "Peggy" Scott died Monday, July 30, 2012, at Kent General Hospital. Mrs. Scott was born September 19, 1925, in Swarthmore, Pa. to the late William Robert Breckinridge and Ethel (Collins) Breckinridge. Mrs. Scott was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed reading her bible, knitting, doing crossword puzzles and watching the Phillies. In 1946, she married her true love, John F. Scott. They were happily married for 41 years until his death in 1987. Ms. Scott is survived by her five children, Linda Davolt and her husband Paul of Brookfield, Mo., John Scott of Bridgeport, N.Y. formerly of Dover, Michael Scott and his wife Christie of Dover, Sarah Ely of Pompano Beach, Fla. and Donald Scott and his wife Ramona of Magnolia. Ms. Scott is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2012, at Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus Street, Dover DE 19901. Burial Service will be private.
