Erich Mrohs, 74

DOVER - Erich Mrohs of Dover died Friday, March 23, 2007, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover, after a long illness. He was 74.

He was born in Zittau, Germany, and immigrated to the United States in 1956.

Mr. Mrohs worked at Cozzoli Machine Co., Somerset, N.J., for 35 years as a senior service technician. He serviced packaging machinery for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries worldwide. He retired in 2003 and moved to Delaware.

He loved motorcycling, boating, swimming, gardening, reading, cooking, painting and playing the organ and harmonica. Mr. Mrohs was clever and creative, and could do anything around the house. He dearly loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Vera Mrohs of Dover; a son, Raymond Mrohs and his wife Alison of Rockville, Md.; two daughters, Patricia Mrohs of Denver, and Dawn Mrohs, of Colchester, Conn.; and five grandchildren, Daniel, Kevin, Caroline, Amanda and Jake.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in First Presbyterian Church, 118 W. Commerce St., Smyrna.

Interment will be private.

Memorial contributions in his name may be sent to Mesothelioma Research Foundation of America, 5716 Corsa Ave., Suite 203, Westlake Village, CA 91362.
