Ena Crichton, 94

DOVER - Ena Crichton, passed away Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, in Westminster Nursing Home, Dover. She was 94. She was born on Jan. 29, 1914 in Swampscott, Mass., daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (McMillen) Marshall. Ena had worked for General Electric and later enjoyed life as a wife and homemaker. She was a member of Faith Community Church. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Crichton, on Feb. 22, 1996. She is survived by four nephews, James Marshall, of Mass., Alfred Marshall and his wife Natalie, David Marshall, all of Peabody, Mass., and Raymond Marshall, of Swampscott, Mass.; a niece, Linda Marshall Blanka, of Manfield, Texas; and an extended church family. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Faith Community Church, Camden, where friends may call one hour earlier. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Dover. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Faith Community Church, 2240 S. DuPont Hwy., Camden, DE 19934. Letters of condolences may be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
