TRENTON - Emma "Sister" Green, departed this life on Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at Bay Health Medical Center in Dover, Del. She was born in San Antonio, Fla. She was a Trenton resident for 64 years and a Dover resident for 11 years. She was educated in the Cranbury Public School Systems as well as the Trenton Public School Systems. She graduated from Trenton Central High School, Class of 1956. She was a former employee at Neuro Psychiatric Institution, Skillman, N.J., Carrier Clinic Foundation, Bellmeade, N.J., and Ewing Residential Center, Ewing, N.J. and was a loving and devoted housewife. She was a member of Beauty Grove Primitive Baptist Church along with the Living Bread Ministries. She was preceded in death by her father, Len McMillon; her mother, Mattie M. Davis; and step-sister, Gertrude Davis. She leaves her loving memories with her husband, Willie "Alfred" Green, Sr.; six children, Linda (Willie, Sr.) Marlow, Willie A., Jr., Kenneth, Sr., Keith Sr. (Paula), Daryl, and Cherri Green; one brother, Leroy McMillon; two sisters, Dorothy Mae (Horace) Blackmon, and Debra Davis; and one step-sister, Toni (Lester) Jackson; 15 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two aunts, Estella (Edward) Borders and Lucy Mae (Lamar) Foster; also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends, and neighbors. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at Beauty Grove Primitive Baptist Church, 66 Race Street, Trenton, N.J. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment will be at Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton, N.J. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home.
