Elven Lene Piper, 74
ELLENDALE - Elven Lene Piper passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022, in Beebe Hospital.
Elven was born July 22, 1947 in Jakin, Georgia to the late Premer & Irene (Washington) Smith.
She had worked as a Home Health Nurse for many years, most recently for Christiana Care Visiting Nurses Association. Elven had a love for children, and operated a Day Care briefly out of her home. She was an accomplished seamstress who loved to make and sell children's clothing.
Beside her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur J. Piper.
Elven is survived by three children, Arthur J. Piper, and Shellene Piper, both of Ellendale and Earlene Carter & husband, Frederick, of Williamsburg, Kentucky; two sisters, Everene Wright & Martha Sample, both of Florida; four grandchildren & nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 12 noon Wednesday, May 25, 2022 in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming; where family and friends may view 1 hour before. Burial will follow in Milford Community Cemetery.
