MILLSBORO - Ellen E. Todd of Millsboro died Wednesday, June 11, 2008, in Harrison Senior Living, Georgetown.
Mrs. Todd was born in Millsboro, daughter of the late Herman and Bertie (Lowe) Mitchell.
She was a homemaker, and enjoyed traveling and vacationing in Myrtle Beach, S.C., and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Todd was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Georgetown.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Todd, in 1992; and a sister, Dorothy Morris.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jerry and Pauline Todd of Millsboro, and Ron Todd of Decatur, Ga.; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Penny and Howard Shockley of Chapel Hill, N.C., and Patricia and Elias Carmine of Millsboro; four sisters, Dolly James, Norma Lee Talley, Louise Conaway and Sally Conaway, all of Georgetown; five grandchildren, Wayne Todd, Jeff Shockley, Shane McCarty, Tracey McCabe and Todd Fleetwood; and several great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be in St. Paul's Episcopal Church Cemetery, Georgetown.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
