(Hewes) Dutton, 95 MIDDLETOWN - Ella M. "Tillie" (Hewes) Dutton of Richland Center, Wis., and formerly of Middletown, Del., passed away peacefully on Fri., Apr. 26, 2013 at Pine Valley Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, in Richland Center, Wis. Mrs. Dutton was born Jan. 6, 1918 in Townsend, Del., daughter of the late Bessie Mae (Savin) and James R. Hewes. She married Charles Paul Dutton on Dec. 3, 1933 and together they lived in the Middletown/Townsend area until 1980 when they moved to Richland Center, Wis. Tillie's loves throughout her life were gardening, crafts, and watching her local grandsons grow. She will be remembered by all at Pine Valley for her infectious smile. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; two sons, James Paul and William E. "Gene" Dutton; two brothers, James Linwood Hewes and William "Bill" Hewes; and a sister, Glenna Hewes Dutton. She is survived by a son, Alan W. Dutton (Linda) of Clayton, Del.; daughter-in-law, Judy Tull Dutton of Richland Center, Wis.; brother-in-law, William Dutton of Wilmington, Del.; five grandsons; two granddaughters; one step-granddaughter; four great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; several nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Sat., May 4, 2013 at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, 212 N. Broad Street in Middletown, where friends may visit two hours prior to funeral services. Interment will follow in Townsend Cemetery, Townsend, DE.
