'Mom Mom' Willey, 74 MILTON - Elizabeth (Jo Ann) "Mom Mom" Willey of Milton passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012, just five days shy of her 75th birthday, at home surrounded by her family. Jo Ann was a long time resident of the Milton-Ellendale area. She was a courageous and strong woman who worked hard all of her life and dedicated her time to loving and providing for her family. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, sitting outdoors watching red birds, writing to pen pals, collecting post cards, helping people, and spending time with her loved ones, especially her great-grandbabies. She was a delightful person to be around with a witty sense of humor and loving personality. Her presence, smile, and laughter will be missed but always remembered. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Willey, in 2006. She is survived by her four children, Donna Dottoli, Traci Jewell and her husband Charles, Steven Willey and his wife Janine, and Michael Willey and his wife Connie; 14 grandchildren, Amber, Chuckie, Shelbi, Joshua, Matthew, Jessica, Jesse, Miranda, Michelle, Christy, Hannah, Justin, Austin, and Rachel; and five great-grandchildren, Julianna, Billy, Theodore, Aubrey, and Brandan. Private memorial services are to be held. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her name to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
