OCEAN VIEW - Elizabeth L. Wingate of Ocean View died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007, in the Harrison House nursing home, Georgetown. She was 83.
She was born in Ocean View, daughter to the late Edward and Lola (Marshall) Robinson.
Elizabeth was a homemaker.
She was a member of AARP and the Bethel United Methodist Church, Lewes.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Wingate, in 1980.
She is survived by her son, Gerald E. Wingate Sr. and his wife Virginia; a brother, Robert Robinson; sister, Grace Mitchell; two grandchildren, Gerald E. Wingate Jr. and his wife Kimberly and Tammy Lee Rust and her husband Mark; and three great-grandchildren, Justin, Jaclyn and Kodi.
A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Thatcher Street, Frankford, where friends may call one hour prior.
Burial will be in St. George's Cemetery,Clarksville.
