REHOBOTH BEACH - Elizabeth J. Realey passed away, Saturday, March 24, 2018 in the home of her daughter Diane and husband Lee Hurd in Felton.
Betty was born April 28, 1935 in Wilmington to the late Abe Ritchie and Tessi Szelongowski Ritchie.
She owned and operated Betty's Cleaning Service for 25 years. Betty enjoyed writing poetry, decorating homes and going to the casinos. She loved animals and had many pets.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Maryanne Ritchie, John Ritchie and Jeanette Bennett; her companion of 22 years, Jake Leary; and best friend, Romaine Jones.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Lewis of Wilmington, Diane Hurd (Lee) of Felton and Dawn Kalinowski of Wilmington; grandchildren, Heather (Fiancé Steve Snow), Samantha, Daniel, Andrew, Sarah and Sabrina; and many great-grandchildren; and her best friend, Pat Keene.
The family would like to thank Delaware Hospice especially Sharon for all the care and support you gave our mother and our family during this difficult time.
Services will be private.
