Elizabeth E. Walls

GOLDSBORO, Md. - Elizabeth E. Walls passed away on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014 at Caroline Nursing Home, surrounded by her family. She was born on Oct. 25, 1926 in Crumpton to the late Marion and Mabel Tull Cole. Mrs. Walls was a seamstress for the Denton Garment Company for 32 years retiring in 1989. She was a member of the Henderson United Methodist Church and loved bluegrass and country music, plus working in her garden. Her greatest loves, however, were her home and family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Wheatley Walls Sr.; son, Robert S. Walls, Sr.; grandsons, Michael Walls and Robert S. Walls, Jr.; and special companion, Bill Beddle. She is survived by her three sons, Melvin Walls Jr., Noble J. Walls Sr. and wife, Barb and Donald W. Walls, all of Henderson; brothers, Charles M. Cole and Harry T. Cole both of Denton, and James A. Cole of Ga.; and three grandchildren, Tammy, Kevin and Jay; four great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Jaylynne, C.J. and Justin. Funeral services for Mrs. Walls will be private with burial in the Ridgely Cemetery.
