Eleanor Mollie Welch
Eleanor Mollie Welch was born on November 27, 2023, to her loving parents, Michael and Jessica Welch. Ellie was born at just twenty-three weeks and five days and was a feisty child from the start. Weighing just one pound, five ounces, Ellie showed a strength, bravery, and sweetness that touched everyone around her. She fought, swinging, and kicking, her heart never wavering, for five days until she passed on December 2nd, 2023. She will live in our hearts forever.
In addition to her parents; Ellie is survived by her grandparents, Jeff and Mary Frances Eisenbrey, Christine Pedrotty, JB Hurd, and Susan Whitcomb; her great-grandparents, Thomas and Tonia Welch and Mary Lou Hurd; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family wishes to thank the incredible doctors and nurses at the Christiana Care Hospital NICU. The care team members, including Christina, Ivy, Amelia, Kristen, and so many more, took such great care of our feisty girl and loved her as much as we do. The compassion and kindness shown to our family by everyone will never be forgotten.
Funeral services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Ellie's memory be sent to the March of Dimes.
Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com
