Following the sale of the restaurant several years ago, she eventually moved to Dunellen, Florida, where she resumed her lifelong hobby of painting. She was well known locally for portraits of her family and friends, as well as landscapes. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy King Williams; husband, William G. Roe, Jr.; and a grandson, Keith Douglas Moore, in July 1986. She is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline R. Moore, and her husband Robert of Smyrna, Del.; and her son, William Michael Roe, of Morriston, Florida. She is also survived by grandchildren, Robert Moore, Jr. and wife Amy of Smyrna, Del.; Michelle Roe of Magnolia, Del., Jennifer Roe and Christopher Roe, both of Morriston, Florida; and great-grandchildren, Dougie, Heather, and Kristen.
