MILFORD - Eileen M. Tucker, age 63, of Milford, formerly of Mt. Kisco, N.Y., passed away Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011, in her home. Eileen was a teacher's aide with the Somers School District (NY). After retirement, she and her family moved to Delaware, in 2005. Eileen was a member of Avenue U.M. Church in Milford and was actively involved with the bible study group and food pantry. She also enjoyed knitting. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Grace (Sullivan) Felter; and her husband, Francis Tucker, in 2006. She is survived by two children, Jason Tucker and Megan Tucker, both of Milford; sister-in-law, Barbara Hanzely and husband Joe, of Toms River, N.J.; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. A memorial service will be noon, Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, in Avenue U.M. Church, 20 N. Church Street, Milford. Burial will be private. Contributions in Eileen's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803 or Humane Society, 2100 L St. NW, Washington, DC 20037. Arrangements in the care of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Milford.
