FREDERICA - Edward Robert August, born Nov. 30, 1968, passed away Thurs., Aug. 4, 2016 at 5:27 p.m. He was a highly educated and distinguished firefighter instructor of 16 years for the U.S. Navy. Edward dedicated his life and career to protecting others. He was preceeded in death by his parents, Audrey & Robert; sister, Penny; and brother, Bobby. He is survived by his loving wife, Lori; brothers, Tommy, Richie, David and Robert; sisters, Stacey, Robin, Lois, Cookie, Dawn & Carey; and many other loving family members and pets. A memorial service will be held Fri., Aug. 12, 216 at 2 p.m. at 14 Huntley Cir., Dover, DE 19901. A loving husband, brother and friend, Edward will be greatly missed.
