Edward R. Brace

BRIDGEVILLE - Edward R. Brace passed away on Tuesday, 31 Oct., 2017 at his home after a prolonged illness.
He was born on May 12, 1938 in New York City, N.Y. to the late Fredrick and Hilda Klinger Brace.
Edward owned and operated B & C Service Center with his brother on Long Island, N.Y.
He enjoyed salt water fishing, rooting for the Yankees, baking for friends and family during the holiday season, and had a life-long career as an automotive mechanic.
Edward was married to his late wife Arlene Mueller Brace for 46 years.
He is survived by his four sons, Edward, William, Thomas, and James; three daughters-in-law, Petrina, Anne Marie and Lisa; two grandchildren, Christina, and William Jr.; five step-grandchildren, Jason, Jenna, Justin, Arron, and Alisha; two great grandchildren, Makaylin, and Marayna; and two sisters-in-law, Adeline and Patricia Brace.
Services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017 at St Mary's Episcopal Church, 2 N. Williams St., Bridgeville, DE 19933. Gathering will begin at 10 a.m. with a memorial service to be held at 11 a.m.
Inurnment will be at St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood.
Arrangements by Fleischauer Funeral Home, Greenwood.
