GREENWOOD - Edward P. Nichols Sr., died on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 at Milford Memorial Hospital. Edward was born on Aug. 26, 1944 in Trenton, N.J. to the late Peter and Margaret Hocking Nichols. He was a truck driver, starting E & J Trucking in Greenwood with his wife in 1987. Edward loved farming, boating, fishing, going to the slots, and spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband and loving father and grand father a friend to many. He was survived by his wife of 34 years, Janet Molesi Nichols; four sons and spouses, Edward Peter, Jr. and Jamie Nichols, Edward James, Sr. and Melinda Nichols, Peter Edward, Sr. and Alecia Nichols, and Edward George and Jessica Nichols; 13 grandchildren; and five Labrador dogs. He is very much loved and will greatly be missed. Memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market St, Greenwood, DE 19950. Interment will be private.
