Edward Corbett

DOVER - Edward Corbett passed away Feb. 23, 2011, in Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 65. He was born on July 9, 1945, in Kentucky and was one of ten children born to the late Henry V. and Mary (Russell) Corbett. Edward served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force. Throughout his working career he worked as a Beverage and Bar Manager most recently at the Dover Sheraton for over 15 years. Edward loved his work and enjoyed spending his off hours with his family. He is survived by his son, Army Captain Matthew Corbett and his wife First Lt. Maureen of Wyoming; and a daughter, Shannon Corbett of Wyoming. Viewing will be 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 27, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Services will be 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 28, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
