PLANO, Texas - Edward C. Hardy of Plano passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, in Plano. He was 64.
He was born Dec. 5, 1942, in Upland, Pa.
Mr. Hardy attended Magnolia Elementery School and graduated from Caesar Rodney High School, Camden, Del., where he was active in baseball.
He met his wife, Barbara Spencer, at school there.
Mr. Hardy joined the U.S. Navy and after Barbara graduated, they married and moved to Texas, where he was stationed.
He was the owner/operator of Lance Pest Control and a resident of Plano.
He is survived by his mother, Mary "Betty" Storey Hardy of Dover, Del.; his wife, Barbara Spencer Hardy; his sons, Casey and Scott; his daughters-in-law, Leslie and Angie; his grandchildren, Morgan, Whitney, Dustin, Carlos, Randi, Jessica, Melissa and Mark; and his great-grandchildren, Samantha, Hayden and Brooke.
A Naval military service will be 3:30 p.m. today at Restland Funeral Home, Wildwood Chapel, Richardson.
