DOVER - Edna Marie Heverin passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013 following a lengthy illness. Edna was born in Phila., Pa. on Aug. 31, 1945 to the late Harold and Dorothy Allen. Edna enjoyed shopping and watching movies. In addition to her parents, she is predecded by her brothers, Harold and Frederick Allen; and her son, Donald Allen. She is survived by her daughter, April Heverin and her companion Gary Shumate; her grandson, Gary Shumate Jr.; two grandaughters, Lisa Duhadaway and Carol Huffman; one great-grandchild, Savannah; her sisters, Mary F. Davis and Dorothy Grace; her brother, Bob Allen; her special friend, Teresa Andrews; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. A graveside memorial service for Edna will take place at 1 p.m. on Sat., April 6, 2013 at Sharon Hills Memorial Park in Dover. Condolences may be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
