Edna Mae Chipman, 81
Edna Mae Chipman passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021. Edna was born on May 21, 1939 to the late Sallie Dawson and Joshua Clendaniel in Milford, Delaware.
Edna grew up in Milford and attended Felton High School, graduating in 1957. Edna met husband Clifford Chipman in 1971 and they married in 1974. Edna enjoyed drawing, writing poetry, trips to the Smoky Mountains, and spending time with her family. She loved her family with her whole heart. Edna was also a member of the Milford Church of God.
In addition to her parents; Edna was preceded in death by husband, Clifford Chipman; brothers, Avery, Joshua, James, and Robert Clendaniel; and sister, Catherine Voshell.
Edna is survived by children, Linda Boda of Seaford, Gail Thomas of Salisbury, Md., Sandra Brown of Milton, David and Julie Morris of Alexandria, Va., and Clifford and Terah Chipman of Salisbury, Md.; brother, Charles Clendaniel of Ellendale; sisters, Elois Hall and Laura Welch, both of Milford, Ruth Heinen of Harrington, and Jean McMasters of Seaford; grandchildren, Robert Langley of Frankford, Matthew McDorman of Seaford, Carroll McDorman of Easton, Md., Heather Goggins of Salisbury, Md., and Aaron Langley of Federalsburg, Md.; and great grandchildren, Cailyn Klein, Thomas Goggins, Tristan Conley, Payton and Evelyn McDorman, and Taylor and Austin Langley.
Services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to HALO Homeless Shelter in Salisbury, Md.
