Camden-Wyoming - Edgar Long passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Long was born in Dover to the late Edward and Edna (Newnom) Long.
Mr. Long was a farmer most of his life and also worked for the Division of Fish and Wildlife for a short period of time. He enjoyed; hunting, gardening, Nascar and fishing.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maribelle Jean Long; son, Robert W. Long (Cheryl) of Hartly; daughters, Cathy Coughlin (Marty) of Dover, Debbie Dukes of Dover, Lori Kirk of Dover and Rebecca Mitchell of Harrington; sister, Ruthellen Carson of Dover; grandchildren, Audrey Davis, James Wood, Donald Wood, Joshua W. Long, Kourtney Ratcliff, Jeffrey Haass, Marjorie Mitchell, Morgan Kirk, Joseph Mitchell, Gerard Kirk, Tyler Mitchell and Chloe Long; great grandchildren, Mason, Drake, Colton, Madisyn, Kadance, Kinzley, Jaylynn, Haley and Wyatt; his cats, Miss Kitty and Lady; two nieces and many good friends and special neighbors from the local Amish community.
There will be a funeral service 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Burial will be private.
