Edgar Franklin Maull Sr., 83

LEWES - Edgar Franklin Maull Sr., of Lewes, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007, in his home, surrounded by his loved ones. He was 83.

Mr. Maull was born Oct. 10, 1923, in Lewes, son of the late Mac and Emily (Drain) Maull. He was raised by his grandmother, the late Maggie Drain.

He was employed by Charles Mills for many years, and retired from the town of Henlopen Acres.

In addition to his parents and grandmother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Maull and Earl Maull; and a son-in-law, Wayne Jefferson.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lillie Mae "Tee" Maull; six daughters and five sons-in-law, Pandora and Jay Kennedy of Milton, Jacqueline and Carlton Brown of New Castle, Lavonne and Leonard Lucas of Georgetown, Cynthia and Gerald Hyland of Lewes, Amanda Maull and her fiancé Alfred Marshall, both of Parsonsburg, Md., and Inger and Michael Lawton of Camden; a son and a daughter-in-law, Edgar Jr. and Deborah Maull; two brothers-in-law, Robert Grinnage and Edward Waples; two sisters-in-law, Gertrude Grinnage and Lois Waples; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three nephews, Milton Maull, Raymond Thomas and Lester Waples; and a host of relatives and friends.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in John Wesley United Methodist Church, Lewes, where friends may call two hours earlier.

Arrangements by Miller Funeral Services, Lewes.
