Earl F. Butler, 90 DOVER - Earl F. Butler, age 90, of Dover, died July 15, 2010. Born in Upland, Pa., he was the son of the late Irvin and Dora Cassidy Butler. Mr. Butler had served in the Conservation Corps under President Franklyn D. Roosevelt and had been involved with the construction of the Sky Line Drive project in the Shenandoah Valley. He was a First Class Electrician and had been employed with the Scott Paper Co. for over 32 years. In his spare time he enjoyed Furniture Making and was especially fond of Bird Carvings. His work had been publicized throughout the Tri-State area and he was especially proud of his recognition by the Ward Foundation of Crisfield, Md. Besides his parents he was pre-deceased by his wife of 60 yrs., Mary E. Butler; a brother, Irvin; and two sisters, Dorothy McCabe and Jennie Albrand. Mr. Butler leaves his dedicated daughter, Pat Butler of Dover; his two grandsons, Mark Del Vecchio of Dover, and John Del Vecchio of Danville, Pa.; his sister, Phyllis Daley of Upland, Pa.; and five great-grandchildren. Friends may call Monday eve. from 7 until 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Milmont Park, Pa., where visitation will take place starting at 9:15 a.m. Interment will follow in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, Pa. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in his memory to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, 333 E. Lancaster Ave., Wynnewood, PA 19096.
