ELKTON, Md. - Dustin R. Hauk, age 22, of Elkton, Md. passed away on Oct. 27, 2013, due to complications of a long term kidney disease. Dustin was born in Newark, Del. on October 17, 1991. Dustin graduated from Rising Sun High School in 2010 and was attending Cecil College. He worked as an Assistant to Activities at Lorien Riverside Nursing Home. Dustin enjoyed many activities especially photography, target shooting, hunting, fishing, and anything to do with electronics. He was predeceased by paternal grandfather Donald T. Hauk. He is survived by his parents, Steven R. & Terry P. Hauk; brothers, Brandon C. Hauk and Dylan S. Hauk; maternal grandparents, Stanley C. & Ruth E. Potter; paternal grandmother, Mary R. Hauk; aunts, Sandy Murray & her husband Mike Murray, Gabrielle Star, and Kathy Thompson; cousins, Jillian Ward, Kelsie Ward, Joshua Ward, Erik Thompson, Amy Jenkins & her husband Jay Jenkins, and Galen Bernard. A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, 2013 at R. T. Foard and Jones Funeral Home, 122 West Main Street, Newark, DE 19711 where family and friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow at Sharps Cemetery in Fair Hill, Md. The family would also like to give their appreciation to Wendy Macie for her selfless donation of a kidney.
