CAMDEN - DuPont W. Mosley, III "Moe" "Butch" passed away on Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital surrounded by his family. DuPont was born May 8, 1952, in Bridgeton, N.J., to the late DuPont W. Mosley, Jr. and Carol Webster Mosley. He retired from the United States Air Force as a Staff Sergeant Load Master after 20 years of service. DuPont was a Vietnam War era veteran, and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He loved gardening, going to car shows, and watching baseball, especially his favorite team, the Phillies. He was also a NASCAR fan who cheered for many drivers. DuPont was a devoted husband, loving father, and friend to all. He would do anything for anyone in need even if it meant seeding or plugging your lawn. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality, laughter, and dedication to helping others in the community. DuPont is survived by his wife of 29 years, Catherine Marie Mosley, of Camden; daughter, Renee Marie Mosley and her boyfriend, Anthony Nicholas Delcollo, of Wilmington; his sister, Sheri L. Patitucci and her husband, Paul, of Linwood, N.J.; his brother, Darryl "Keebee" K. Mosley and Joanne, of Shiloh, N.J.; his aunt, Natalie Ridgway; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 12 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover, with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will be at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
