Dorothy E. Johnson

CLAYTON - Dorothy E. Johnson passed away on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017 after a long battle against ovarian cancer. She lived loving kickboxing, traveling and she had countless friends that loved her. Her colorful life included a long career at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and was an artist, having graduated from the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology of New York City.
She is survived by brothers and sisters in Florida; her son, Alan Martinez; daughter-in-law, Trina Blomquist-Martinez; and two lovely nieces, Amalee and Alaina.
Also surviving is her daughter, Carole Diaz and her husband W.K Hartline; her son David Diaz, and his fiancé Lauren Riley and their son, Dorothy's great grandson, Nathan Diaz.
Services will be privately held.
