Dorothy C. 'Dolly' Robbins, 59
GALENA, Md. - Dorothy C. "Dolly" Robbins, of Galena, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, in Chester River Hospital, Chestertown. She was 59.
Dolly was born on June 12, 1948, daughter of the late James E. and Mildred Durham Connolley.
She was raised in Galena and was a 1966 graduate of Galena High School.
For more than 20 years she worked at Washington College, retiring in 2005 as the hospitality coordinator.
Dolly had also worked part time in housekeeping at Heron Point.
She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Andrew Connolley and Joseph Connelley.
She is survived by two children, Stephanie Edwards and her husband Wayne of Galena and Larry Robbins Jr. and his wife Karen of Millington; a brother, J. Edward "Eddie" Connolley and his wife Linda of Galena; and four grandchildren, Shelbi Edwards, Lauren Edwards, Buck Robbins and Dalton Robbins.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St., Galena.
Service and burial will be private.
Memorials may be offered to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
