Dorothy A. Blevins, 75 CLAYTON - Dorothy A. Blevins, of Clayton, died on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, at Kent General Hospital in Dover. She was 75. Mrs. Blevins was born Dec. 18, 1934, in New York, N.Y., the daughter of the late Constance Beisner. Mrs. Blevins worked as a Secretary for the Delaware National Guard for many years. She enjoyed camping at Homestead Campground in Georgetown, Delaware with her family and loved on-line shopping. Mrs. Blevins is survived by three daughters, Denise J. Blevins of Dover, Teresa A. Cochran and her husband Norman of Newark, and Barbara A. Eastburn and her husband Steve of Townsend; a son, Joseph R. Blevins and his wife Ada of Clayton with whom she lived with; two brothers, Gus Casey and his wife Bonnie of Florida, and Douglas Beisner of Smyrna; and ten granddaughters. Mrs. Blevins family appreciates the care and support that she received from FMC Dialysis of Georgetown, Smyrna, and Milford. Memorial services will be 7 p.m., Monday March 1, in the Faries Funeral Chapel located on 29 South Main Street, Smyrna, where friends may call at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 625 West Ridge Pike Suite A100 Conshohocken, PA 19428.
