SEAFORD - Doris W. Soardes of Seaford passed away on Thursday afternoon, March 31, 2016 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was 90. She was born July 25, 1925 near Easton, Md., and was the daughter of the late Raymond Willson and Clara Williams. Following her education and with the outbreak of the W.W. II she moved to Washington D.C. and worked for the American Red Cross for many years. She married John M. Soardes and with his job requirements they traveled extensively for the rest of their active careers. She is survived by many loving cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Williamson Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St. Federalsburg, MD., with the Pastor Troy Dennis officiating. Interment will take place at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Federalsburg with Stephen Orick, Tylden Brice, Roy Everage Jr. Dwyne Wrotten, Rodney Wrotten, and Michael Wrotten serving as pallbearers.
