DOVER - Doris Marie Aurich of Dover passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Westminster Village. She was 93. Mrs. Aurich was born March 8, 1921 in Olean, New York to the late Edward Kent and Ruth Lockwood Kent. She graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology and received her Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition from the University of Syracuse. Mrs. Aurich worked as a dietitian for St. Francis Hospital in Olean, N.Y. She was an avid golfer, seamstress and bridge player. Mrs. Aurich was a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Dover. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard F. Aurich; brothers, Harold, James and Paul Kent. She is survived by eight nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 12 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Lewistown, PA.
