LEWES - Doris K. Shedland of Lewes died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2006, in the comfort of her home, embraced by her loving daughters. She was 82.
Mrs. Shedland was born and raised in Gloucester City, N.J.
She relocated to Lewes in 1986.
Mrs. Shedland was active in the Lewes Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Deborah K. Lowe of Atco, N.J., Judith N. White of Westville, N.J., and Jenni A. Sweeten of Georgetown; three grandchildren, Sarah Pekera of Fredericksburg, Va., Karolina Lowe of Atco and James I. Sweeten of Georgetown; two great-granddaughters, Lillian Sweeten and Madison Pekera; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Alyce and Jim Casserley of Marco Island, Fla., Carole and George Wilson of Mount Ephraim, N.J., and Bettie Helen Englehart of Sewell, N.J.; and three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Frank and Darline Keebler of Gloucester City, Edward and Pat Keebler of Doylestown, Pa., and Thomas Keebler of New Jersey.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Lewes Presbyterian Church, 133 Kings Highway, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will follow in Lewes Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803-0163.
