Doris Frank Campbell

Doris Frank Campbell, 91

DOVER - Doris Frank Campbell of Dover passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, after a brief illness in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 91.

Born in Elmira, N.Y., Mrs. Campbell grew up in Wellsboro, Pa., and was a graduate of the Rochester Business Institute.

Mrs. Campbell resided with her late husband, Gerritt D. Campbell, in Vineland, N.J., for 33 years, during which time she worked as an executive secretary for many years at Shieldalloy Corporation in Newfield, N.J.

After her retirement, she resided with her daughter's family in Dover.

In her later years, Mrs. Campbell enjoyed working with young children, needlework, birding and traveling.

Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her, especially her son, Gerritt D. Campbell Jr. of Vineland; daughter, Cynthia Campbell Webb of Cochranville, Pa.; and twin grandsons, Gerritt C. and Robert G. Wetherall, both of Dover.

A viewing will be from 5-6:30 p.m. Monday in Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus St., Dover, after which a prayer service will be held until 7 p.m.

A private funeral will be at a later date at the Hilltop Cemetery in Breesport, N.Y.
