Doris DeLouice Dietz, 77 WILMINGTON - Doris DeLouice Dietz, of Wilmington Manor, died Sunday, July 13, 2008, at The Arbors Nursing Home. She was 77. Mrs. Dietz was born Sept. 16, 1930, in Dover to the late Daniel Collins Clarke and Rachel Alawice (Carlisle) Clarke. Following their retirement from the Air Force, Mrs. Dietz became a self-employed tax office owner for H&R Block. In her spare time and during retirement she enjoyed collecting fine crystal and porcelain figurines. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Lawrence Dietz; her older brother, Merritt D. Clarke; and older sister, Marie H. Beumler. She is survived by her younger brother, Edward C. Clark Sr. and his children Rosaria M. Daisey, Danny C. Clark, and Edward C. Clark Jr. of Clayton; Merritt Clarke's children, Michael J. Clarke of Baker, Fla., Sharon L. Julius of Lenox, Pa., and, Beverly J. Baca of Milan N.M.; several members of the Carlisle family in Delaware; and her caregiver and friend, Sylvia Wallop and her husband Thomas of Smyrna. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover. Arrangements by Torbert Funeral Chapel.
