Doris Ann Thawley

QUEEN ANNE, Md. - Doris Ann Thawley died Monday, Aug. 7, 2017, at the Compass Regional Hospice in Centreville, Md.
Born in Dover on Oct. 28, 1954, Ms. Thawley was the daughter of Sarah Jane Hutchins Melvin of Goldsboro, Md. and the late Belford "Obie" Edwin Melvin, Sr. She was a 1973 graduate of NCHS. She had been the manager of the Call Center at Choptank Electric in Denton, Md. where she had worked for 33 years.
Ms. Thawley is survived by her son, Rusty A. Thawley and his wife Amber of Denton, Md.; a sister, Sandy Little of Goldsboro, Md.; two brothers, Belford Melvin, Jr. of McAllen, Texas and Richard Melvin of Harrington; two grandchildren, Ashlyn Thawley and Dylan Thawley; and her significant partner of many years, Dan K. Dulin of Queen Anne, Md.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. in Denton where friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. before the service. The interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery11365 Ocean Gateway, Easton, Md.
