Donna Fae Hitchens, 28

LAUREL - Donna Fae Hitchens of Laurel died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, in her home. She was 28.

Mrs. Hitchens was a 1999 graduate of Beebe School of Nursing, Lewes. She was employed by Beebe Medical Center, Lewes as a cardiac nurse.

She enjoyed traveling, shopping and scrapbooking. She was a wonderful, wife, mother, sister and daughter. She inspired many people and will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Hitchens and her family attended the Peninsula Community Church, Selbyville. She was a volunteer for the Relay for Life.

She is survived by her husband of nine years, Blaine Hitchens; a son, Tyler Hitchens; her parents, Donald and Dawn Steen; three sisters and three brothers-in-law, Sheree and Alan Price, Shelly and Mike Pusey and Angie and Matt Warrington; a father-in-law and a mother-in-law, Marvin and Jean Ellen Hitchens; two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Marian and Tom Carey and Pam and Mike Cummins; and nine nieces and nephews, Taylor Price, Hunter Price, Emily Pusey, Caleb Pusey, Meredith Carey, Erin Carey, Rachel Carey, Ryan Cummins and Mallory Cummins.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the Laurel Fire Company, where friends may call three hours earlier. Pastor Paris Sexton will officiate.

Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Laurel.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Tyler L. Hitchens Scholarship Fund, Wilmington Trust Co., Attn. Kay L. Murphy, Laurel Branch, 101 West Market St., Laurel, DE 19956.

Arrangements by Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro.
