Dover - Donald H. Patrick was born, January 5, 1930 in Easton, Maryland, to the late Floyd Edward Patrick and Helen Frances Perry Patrick. On Thursday, January 7, 2016, he peacefully passed away in the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mark & Fay Prigge, of Dover. He was married to the late Pastor Rita Patrick, who in 1981, founded the Christian Fellowship Church, of Dover. They jointly lived their lives giving to others, and never asking for anything in return. Don served in the Maryland National Guard from 1948 to 1959. He was a barber and successful business owner, as he was co-owner of Regent Barbershop; a well known barber shop in downtown Easton, Maryland. After relocating to Dover, he became a barber at Bucks Barber Shop on Route 8, in Dover. He is survived by his children, Donald Patrick, Susan Workman, Robert Patrick & wife, Dawn; Fay Prigge & husband, Mark; Lydia Prigg and Deborah Cottrell & husband, Doug; along with 23 grandchildren & 27 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm, Monday, January 18, 2016, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming; where family and friends may gather 1 hour before.
