Satterfield, 72 DOVER - Donald Dudley Satterfield died Friday June 6, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Satterfield was born on July 26, 1941 to the late Fannie and Bernard Satterfield in Ridgely, Md. He was a 45 year veteran of the trucking industry. The family would like to thank Harbor Healthcare of Lewes for the loving care they provided. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Kenneth Satterfield, Thelma Guessford and Emma Satterfield. Mr. Satterfield is survived by his wife, Pamela Ann of Dover; his children, Donald Douglas and his wife, Pamela of Camden, Bernard and his wife, Billie Jo of Dover, and Crystal and her husband Lee of Hartly; a brother, Mike of Henderson, Md; eight grandchildren; one great grandson; and a host of relatives. A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, June 11, 2014 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, Del 19934, where friends may visit with the family from Noon to 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimers Association of Delaware, 240 N. James Street, Suite 100 A, Newport, DE 19804. Online condolences may be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
