DOVER - Dolores Pena, of Dover, died Jan. 28, 2009, at Bayhealth Medical Center, Dover. She was 86. Born in Manhattan, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Hilda Criscuolo. She had been a resident of Dover since moving from Bronx, N.Y., in 1991. For her entire adult life she dedicated herself to her husband, children, and grandson. She enjoyed cooking, reading, playing Scrabble and tending to her pets. Dolores was a person who sincerely cared for others and one who was true to her friends. She will be remembered as a kind and generous person to those lives that she touched. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her. She had been a longtime member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and the Dover Modern Maturity Center. Dolores is survived by her daughter, Diana Rosario of Dover; son and daughter-in-law, Henry and Haydee Cruz Rosario of Magnolia; and one grandson, Christopher Rosario of Smyrna. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, at the Chapel of Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear. Burial will follow in the cemetery. Arrangements are by Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Director, Dover.
