CLARKSVILLE - Dollie J. Lathbury, age 87, of Clarksville, passed away on Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Lathbury was born in Millsboro, on Sept. 22, 1922, daughter of the late John and Minnie Hitchens. She is survived by two sons, Floyd R. Lathbury and his wife Sheila of Charleston, S.C. and Paul E. Lathbury of Clarksville; six grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; a sister, Aleine Watson; and a brother, Bill Hitchens. A funeral service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010 at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher St., Frankford, where friends and family may call after 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. George's Cemetery, Clarksville.
