Diane P. Walls

Diane P. Walls, 58 FELTON - Diane P. Walls, of Felton, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009. She was 58. She was born in Georgetown, to the late Elmer M. and Blanche M. Jefferson. Mrs. Walls worked for the State of Delaware in the Department of Archives handling microfilm, for the past 26 years. She loved her job tremendously and hated to take even one day off. Her favorite activity was watching the Food Network Channel. She watched it every chance she got. She enjoyed picking on her son Michael. She will be remembered as a very outgoing and strong willed person who loved her family immensely and adored her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Ray Walls Jr. She is survived by sons, Carry Ray Walls, and Michael S. Walls and wife Bonnie; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Rob McGee, Cheryl and Bucky Walls, and Denise Marie and Dell Walls; brothers and sisters-in-law, Martin and Jodi Jefferson, Charles and Libby Walls, and Sidney and Barbara Jefferson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Wayne Walters, Betty and Ralph Walls, Kathy and Butch Weaver, and Sandra and Gordon Rogers; 17 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Monday, Dec. 14, at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
