Diane Hungerford

DOVER - Diane Hungerford, of Dover, died Thursday, September 15, 2011, at home. She was 60. Mrs. Hungerford was born December 14, 1950, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Carl and Doris Zimmerman Pitkevits. She had worked as an Assistant Vice President/Facilities Manager at Bank of America for 16 years, and has enjoyed being a homemaker for the last 8 years. Mrs. Hungerford loved the Beatles. "Love is a promise, Love is a souvenir once given never forgotten. Never let it disappear" John Lennon. Mrs. Hungerford is survived by her husband of 28 years, Thomas Hungerford of Dover; daughters, Paula Perrera and her companion Jim Allison of Dover, Debi Shelley and her husband Steve of Felton; brothers, Carl Pitkevits of Baltimore, Md, and Alan Pitkevits of Upper Marlboro, Md; sister, Sharon Brucker of Lebanon, Pa; grandchildren, Tiffany Wilkerson and her husband Jason, Shannon Perrera, Bryanna, Brandon Garcia, and Jennifer Shelley. Funeral services will be held noon, Monday September 19, 2011, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Barratt's Chapel, Frederica. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at torbertfuneral.com.
