HARTLY - Diana Lee Yates, of Hartly, died Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Kent General Hospital. She was 69. Mrs. Yates was born April 4, 1942, in Dover, to the late William Hamilton and Pauline Carty Hamilton. She worked for National Cup for many years and then Fleischer's Bakery while raising her children. She had also worked for Burns Security at Kraft Foods then Sunroc. Mrs. Yates enjoyed spending time with her family, and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She will be sadly missed. She touched so many people's hearts. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Yates, 2005. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Lee Yates of Hartly; son, Mark Yates and his wife Sharon of Ridley Park, Pa.; daughter, Donna Moran and her husband Joseph of Hartly; and six grandchildren.
