GREENWOOD - Diana Jean Jones, 60, of Greenwood, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, surrounded by her family. She was born in Baltimore, Md., the daughter of Isabelle (Hagins) Wilder Beagel and the late Clarence E. Wilder. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Milford School District for 21 years. She loved to watch and feed the birds, especially hummingbirds. She also loved her dogs. She was an avid collector of lighthouses and was quite a lighthouse person. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Clarin M. Chaplin on April 23, 2010. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Jones of Greenwood; two daughters, Tina M. Goebel and her husband Brian of Harrison Township, Mich., and Tara M. Simpson and her husband Dan of Felton; her mother, Isabelle (Hagins) Beagel, of Glen Burnie, Md.; and five grandchildren, Trevor Simpson, William Goebel, Jake Goebel, Garrett Simpson, and Henry Goebel. Funeral services were at 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford, where friends called from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial was in Milford Community Cemetery, Rt. 113. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
