Dewain Pippin, 63
INVERNESS, Fla. - Dewain Pippin, of Inverness, passed away after a long illness on Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at his home. He was 63.
He graduated from Greenwood High School, class of 1963.
Dewain resided in Florida the past 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys, in 2003; and his father, Gilbert Pippin.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Lee Pippin of Milford, Del.; a sister, Yvonne Kaye Pippin of Milford; a brother, Roger W. Pippin of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; three nephews, Jodie A., Jamie A. and Christopher C. Webb, all of Milton; two aunts, Geneva Greenly of Felton, Del., and Lillian Massey of Seaford, Del.; and other relatives from Maryland, Delaware and Maine.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at Fleischauer Funeral Home, 48 W. Market St., Greenwood.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803-0163.
Gisela B. Reynolds, 75
DOVER - Gisela B. Reynolds, of Dover, passed away Friday, May 2, 2008, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 75.
She was born Aug. 25, 1932, in Liegnitz, Germany, to Otto and Gertrud Lebefromm.
She was a homemaker and an avid bowler.
She is survived by her husband, Weldon B. Reynolds Jr. of Dover; son, James H. Reynolds and his wife Sonie of Hartsella, Ala.; daughter, Susan G. Holliday and her husband Charles of Frederica; brother, Horst Lebefromm and his wife Margot of Germany; sister-in-law, Ilse Lebefromm of Germany; four granddaughters; and one great-grandson.
Friends may call 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus St., Dover.
A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
