After a long battle of health issues, Denise Cynthia Wilhelm was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday February 19, 2022.
She is survived by the love of her life, her husband, Gary C. Wilhelm; her mother and father, Doris Armstrong and Edward J. Armstrong; daughter, Erin E. Cliffe; step-son, Matthew C. Wilhelm (Christine); and grand-daughter, Gwendolyn J. Wilhelm; sisters, Lisa Reczek (Donald), and Sheri Boyer (David); a sister-in-law, Donna Smagala; many nieces and nephews; four great ladies she called her dearest friends; and her dog, Buster.
She was predeceased by her father, Gary G. Dodd; maternal grandparents, Clifton and Edna Seward.
She loved animals, traveling with her husband Gary, and getting together with family and friends.
A special thanks goes to Season's Hospice and her nurse Amanda.
A visitation will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, with funeral services at 2 p.m. Interment will be private.
