Demetrius Anton 'Dumpy' Caldwell, 24
CHESWOLD - Demetrius Anton "Dumpy" Caldwell of Cheswold died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, in Smyrna. He was 24.
Mr. Caldwell was born Nov. 30, 1982, son of Louis Jr. and Cynthia Caldwell of Dover.
He attended the Capital School District.
Mr. Caldwell was a cheerful, fun loving and devoted son, brother, cousin and uncle, who loved to be around his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Louis Caldwell Sr.; and an uncle, Junior Williams.
He is survived by his parents, Louis Jr. and Cynthia Elaine Caldwell of Dover; a sister and her partner, Domonique Nicole Caldwell and Aaron Cannon of Dover; a special niece, Amaia Nicole Caldwell-Cannon; his grandparents, Juliette Caldwell of Cheswold, Lucille Williams of Baltimore and Postell and Dorothy Cochran of Peru, Ind.; six uncles and three aunts, Eugene Caldwell, Joseph and April Caldwell and Patrick Caldwell, all of Dover, Craig and Allison Cochran of Cape May, N.J., Eric Cochran of California and Ruben and Demisha Cochran of Indiana; nine aunts and six uncles, Catherine Caldwell of Cheswold, Sandra and Billy Caldwell of Dover, Sherry and Lionel Dixon of Dover, Samantha and Sterling Caldwell of Dover, Ann and Stanley Robinson of Baltimore, Denise Williams of North Carolina, Michelle and Diwight Little of Washington, D.C., Vanessa and Terry Simms of Texas and Tanya Cochran of Chicago; nine special and close cousins, Elisha Caldwell of Dover, Freida Newsome of Jackson, Miss., and Saquanda Caldwell, Shayla Caldwell, Alisa Caldwell, Loroma Caldwell, William Caldwell, Shelton Caldwell and Shon Caldwell, all of Dover; a special friend, Tiffany Tripplet of Chester, Pa.; a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and friends; and his Mount Olive Pentecostal Church family.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Mount Olive Pentecostal Church, Northeast Street, Smyrna, where friends may call two hours earlier.
Burial will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
Arrangements by House of Wright Mortuary, Wilmington.
