FELTON - Delores M. Bougourd of Felton passed away Sunday, March 25, 2007, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 73.
Mrs. Bougourd was born in Baltimore, daughter of the late Harry and Josephine Paesch.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, bingo and sewing.
Mrs. Bougourd was a member of Willow Grove Church of God. Before moving to Delaware, she was a pre-kindergarten teacher for 12 years at Heritage Church of God, Severn, Md.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, John N. Bougourd III; four children and their spouses, John IV and Sherry Bougourd of Felton, Harry and Sharon Bougourd of Glen Burnie, Md., Kathy and Robert Grant of Upper Marlboro, Md., and Ellen and James Knight of Inglis, Fla.; three sisters, Geraldine Dodge and Annie Palmer, both of Baltimore and Patricia Colvin of Saxon, Pa.; two brothers, Tom Paesch of Dundalk, Md. and Harry Paesch of Pasadena, Md.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main Street, Felton.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Willow Grove Church of God.
