Delillian Spence White, 50

HOUSTON - Delillian Spence White of Houston went to Heaven to be the Lord on Monday, Oct. 1, 2007, after a brief illness. She was 50.

She was born Jan. 14, 1957, in Lewes, the daughter of Edna and the late Preston P. Spence Sr.

Delillian was baptized as a child and attended the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, Apostolic Faith.

She truly loved the Lord and his word.

Delillian, also known as "Dee," graduated from Milford High School in 1974.

She was a loving wife and devoted mother.

She had a passion for decorating.

Delillian worked as an Independent Home Interior Consultant for many years and continued to work diligently during her illness.

She had a glowing smile that would brighten anyone"s day.

Delillian loved being with family, especially her husband Frankie and her twin boys, Tyler and Taylor.

She is preceded in death by three brothers, Preston P. Spence Jr., Everette E. Spence and Charles Spence.

She leaves to mourn her loving husband, Frank J. White; her twin boys, Taylor White and Tylor White of Houston; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Vivian Spence and Yvonne Spence, both of Lincoln, and Darlene Morris and her husband Phillip of Cheswold; five brothers and two sisters-in-law, Elvin Spence and his wife Sarah of Frederica, Larry Spence of Dover, Robert Spence of Milford, Dennis Spence and his wife Dorcell of Magnolia, and Michael Spence of Ellendale; nine in-laws, Beatrice Harris and her husband Phillip of Harrington, James White and his wife Terri of Harrington, Frances Daniels of Harrington, Teresa Bowers of Dover, Phillip White of Baltimore, and Nathan Bryant and his wife Leola of Milford; and a host aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

She will be sadly missed by all.

Funeral services will be noon Saturday in the Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 274 N. Rehoboth Blvd., Milford, where friends may call two hours prior to the service.

Interment will be in Peoples Cemetery, Lewes.
