Deborah Gaye Seward

FELTON - Deborah Gaye Seward passed away on Jul. 6, 2017, at Christiana Medical Center in Newark.
Mrs. Seward was born on Jan. 29, 1957, to the late Clifford R. and Mary Boyer Durham, Jr. in Elkton, Md. She graduated from Elkton High School in 1975 and attended Polytech. Mrs. Seward served in the Maryland National Guard and worked for 25 years at Technitrol then DHL working as a lab technician at Proctor and Gamble. She attended Cedar Grove Church for many years until it closed, after which she began attending New Life Wesleyan Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Scarborough. She is survived by husband, Ronnie Seward; two daughters, Dawn Nicholas (Brian) of Felton and Heather Fletcher (Issac) of Federalsburg; sisters, Helen Lance of Middletown and Gloria McDowell of Elkton; four grandchildren, Ashlynn, William, Toby and Nathaniel.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Jul. 12, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home with a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jul. 11, 2017. To share condolences and memories please visit www.fleegleandhelfenbein.com
